Black dragon route, step by step
The shadow event is mandatory and random. If the tree scene does not offer it, stop trying to force the black route during that run.
1
Choose the tallest-tree branch at the main fork.
2
Select the shadow only when the random option appears.
3
Let the blue dragon continue rather than ending the route there.
4
Help the injured cadet, head south and check behind you.
5
At the black encounter, hold its gaze instead of bowing.
What a successful route produces
The map ends at a result card
The route determines the bonding scene; the final card records the individual dragon. Save the card before beginning another run so you retain its name, tail, age and lineage.
